DOLL
DOLL – The Aesthetics of Stillness
In an era where fashion is increasingly perceived as performance,
Shin Jeong Hoon presents "DOLL"—a visual narrative that balances the line between fragility and rigorous control.
Between Form and Fragility
The concept of "DOLL" explores moments of pause. At its center is the model Paula,
whose poses blur the boundary between rigid objectification and emotional depth.
This atmosphere is further enhanced by the accompanying fashion film by Axel Lauhon,
which adds a cinematic dimension to the static imagery.
“Every shiver, every hesitation...” – the film’s subtitles hint at the hidden humanity beneath the flawless facade.
Curated Craftsmanship
The visual language of the project is defined by the styling of Dasha Vorobeva.
Avant-garde designs by Nele Westerkowsky enter into a dialogue with established names such as Chanel, Jimmy Choo, and Steve Madden.
The contrast between fluid textures and architectural cuts emphasizes the theme of controlled elegance.
"DOLL" is not a mere display of clothing, but a study of the staging of the self.
A project that demonstrates how powerful the synergy of photography, film, and fashion can be when following a clear, minimalist vision.
